The 3 beeps indicate that the doors are locked. Make sure vehicle is in park and you unlock the doors, then hit the lift gate button. Problem resolved , it was the power liftgate module issue. Happened to me the other day as well. I can’t remember if the issue was I needed to put it in park or hit the unlock, but it was something simple like .... Corning
